Mechropolis was my second year project and it’s a 3D puzzle game where you play as the female protagonist Vale and solve puzzles my merging robots together.

Setting
Vale is sent out to determine the cause of the recent natural disasters. She finds and explores an underground civilisation of robots – could these creatures be the cause of it all?
The robots have the unusual ability to be merged with other robots; combining several aspects and properties from both in order to form another, different robot. Vale needs to use this to her advantage in order to progress through the world and hopefully stop the cause of the disasters.

Puzzle design
I was one of the designers for this project and worked mainly with designing the different puzzles. One of our goals was to have multiple solutions for each puzzle, which needed a lot of consideration to make it work on each level. I also worked as a 3D modeller and made the different robot models and a lot of the environment props.
